Going way back to 1989 we discover the first cell phone commercial for Centel, which features Motorola DynaTAC 8000X, the very first mobile phone approved by the FCC in 1983. Romantic music and symbols of wealth, among which the uber-expensive (at that time) cellphone are the defining elements of the ad.
