This commercial is so outdated… Sexy girls wishing us a “Merry Christmas”, it’s like the eighties again. This ad has no message whatsoever, other than the visual one.

Aside from the music, this ad’s got nothing special… Maybe that black/white approach will increase the artistic value of the spot, but still it’s too short and plot-lacking to convey anything.

In the 80s these commercials worked, now we need gingerbread talking people to reach the audience… We’ve gone from a more romantic view on holidays, through this AT&T ad below to one based on animation and humour. Is that bad?
